The team are preparing to go on expedition in October 2024 to summit the trekking peak ‘Lobuche East’ in Nepal. At 6119m (20,075ft) Lobuche East is suitable as a training peak for higher mountains and will practise the team in the use of basic snow & ice skills, crampons, ice axe and some basic rope-work. Lobuche is a stunning peak and great for those who require a first Himalayan climb.
To arrive at the base camp the expedition will trek through the Kumbhu Region of Nepal along the visually breath-taking ‘Everest Base Camp’, route ensuring they acclimatise sufficiently before attempting to summit.
