On arrival at Everest Base Camp Dan can just about see one hundred metres if lucky. The view of Mount Everest and the surrounding areas were obscured today (16/10/2022) by low lying mist & fog, ‘Mother Nature’ was doing her thing. Dan was passing through with Guide Maule to climb higher than 6k further on, the main effort being to acclimate and practise being out in the cold, along the glacial moraine, and trekking up and over a 5000m+ pass, recent snowfall had laid nice and fresh fluffy snow on all surfaces making the views even more beautiful.
